Paddlers in a red canoe glide across Lower Tangles Lake which is located 20 miles from the Richardson Highway on the Denali Highway. This road is only accessible in the summer months and connects the Parks Highway near Cantwell with the Richardson Highway approximately 175 miles south of Fairbanks, Alaska.
