Common Harebell

This image of Common Harebell was photographed on Smith Island in Prince William Sound near Valdez Alaska. This sparse flower will sometimes appear to spring up out of rock formations. This uprighted bell is sometimes confused with a Mountain Harebell but the latter has an upright bell.
