Larkspur

This image depicts a fine example of the wildflower, Larkspur. This member of the buttercup family grows in moist meadows and woodlands throughout Southcentral, interior and most of interior Southwestern Alaska in July and August. This is a poisonous plant. It can be dried for decorative arrangements by hanging upside-down.
